Senior Pharmacy Recruitment Consultant at Excel Healthcare

Working Hours: Set days with alternative Saturdays, no late nights
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a patient-focused professional looking for a flexible work-life balance while leading a dedicated dispensary team. The role involves overseeing the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert healthcare advice, and ensuring the pharmacy operates in full compliance with PSI regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient dispensing of medicines.
2. Provide expert pharmaceutical care and clinical advice to patients.
3. Ensure full compliance with PSI and HPRA regulations, as well as all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
4. Lead, support, and work alongside an experienced and skilled dispensary team.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, GPs, and healthcare professionals.
6. Manage stock control and ensure proper storage of all medicines.
7. Assist in the development of pharmacy services, including health promotion initiatives.
8. Maintain accurate patient medication records and handle queries professionally.
Key Requirements:
1. Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pharmacist (preferred).
3. Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
6. A passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
