Role Profile
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager (Agri), we have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Executive to join our recently launched Inside Sales Team. The role will be responsible for outbound tele-sales for the assigned regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenues for their regions within this new sales channel. Along with working closely with Inside Sales team members, they will develop strong relationships with commercial and operations colleagues to ensure success.
Responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets for your assigned regions and seek to expand your customer base.
* Maximise each sale by leveraging any upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
* Foster long-term relationships with customers by delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer issues promptly, escalating issues when relevant.
* Utilise and embrace CRM technologies to support your customer targeting, order placement, and tracking.
* Work closely with area managers and regional heads to identify and pursue telesales opportunities.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Co-ordinate with logistics colleagues to ensure satisfactory order delivery.
* Share best practices with other team members.
* Support competitor activity analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, supporting any efforts from the wider team to do the same.
Requirements
* Sales experience – Tele-sales experience is an advantage.
* While demonstrating an understanding of the customer and the market in which we serve is an advantage, a positive can-do attitude is essential.
* Flexible mindset, particularly at the early stage of the development of this team.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
