Ad Astra Fellow - Assistant Professor of Antibacterial Resistance
The College of Health and Agricultural Sciences seeks an Ad Astra Fellow - Assistant Professor to contribute to the strategic priority of research in antibiotic resistance.
Key Areas of Focus
* Fundamental mechanisms underpinning antibiotic resistance and other antimicrobials
* Development of new pharmacologic approaches leveraging endogenous antimicrobial agents, including lipids and peptides
Research Objectives
This appointment will broaden and strengthen existing research in this area of high strategic importance, building on recent fellowships and current recruitment efforts.
Requirements
* PhD in a relevant field
* Strong research record in antibiotic resistance or related areas
* Experience in teaching and mentoring students
