Maintenance Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance works for our manufacturing company based in the Dublin area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management and delivery of the maintenance function for production facilities.
* Member of the senior team for the region.
* Manage planned downtime to achieve required plant Up Time per week.
* Maximise machine and equipment output by implementing, operating and maintaining safe and effective preventative maintenance programmes.
* Assume leadership role in the scheduling of shutdown maintenance activities.
* Liaise with the Operations Team and Logistics Management in the development of job plans and receive feedback from completed jobs.
* Responsible for the development, management and implementation of the Routine, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programme and associated improvement works, including the identification by root causes recurring process incidents for elimination.
* Develop and maintain a Maintenance Management System to optimise site maintenance planning, spare parts management & inventory control, maintenance metrics data collection and reporting.
* Manage maintenance spare parts storeroom including workflows, spares evaluation and metrics to include identifying critical spares, establishing appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels and optimising inventory stock value.
* Cost and relationship management of suppliers and 3rd party providers including the identification of new providers.
* Provide training to other employees, to assist with their understanding of the process and to aid technical decision making.
Requirements:
* Time served trade or equivalent qualification, and/or third level related discipline e.g. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree.
* 6+ years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
