Legal Costs Administrator Dublin City Centre Law Firm About the role: Our client is currently recruiting for a Legal Costs Administrator to join their Accounts Team.
This role can be based in Dublin or a hybrid role.
Ideally, you will have worked in a plaintiff litigation costs capacity.
Responsibilities: Administer matters from settlement of case to closure of file.Maintain list of matters and their statuses.Monitor office and client account costs on matters.Create costs files for Legal Costs Accountant.Reconcile matter costs to Legal Costs Accountant's statement.Communicate and correspond with Client, Legal Costs Accountants, Experts, and Legal Counsel.File all case correspondence.Prepare payments to clients, witnesses, and counsel.Hold regular meetings with Partners and Legal Costs Accountants.Set up new client profiles on case management system.Handle client billing when required.Post outlay to case management system.Requirements: Strong administration skills – letter writing.Preparation of finance records.Familiarity with Practice Evolve Case Management is an advantage.Strong numeracy skills with impressive attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Intermediate Excel skills.Prior experience with billing systems and client outlay.Preferable legal cost accountant experience or litigation law, firms costs experience.
