Our client, a leading wholesaler and retailer of agricultural and hardware supplies, is seeking a Trade Counter Admin Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.
Role Profile:
Based in Navan, Co. Meath this varied role will include opening and closing the shop, serving customers at the counter or by phone, merchandising, ordering and receiving stock, retail and wholesale administration, and covering the store yard where required.
Monday to Saturday. Flexible hours. No bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be customer focused by providing friendly service and advice.
* Keen interest in and understanding our range of products.
* Ensure the smooth day to day running of the retail store.
* Maintain high standards of store presentation and restock display areas to ensure product availability.
* Handling of cards, cash, and cheques balancing the till at the end of each day.
* Product coding, pricing and updating of prices on goods for sale.
* Be able to work in the shop and store yard as and when needed.
* Wider business administration, input of purchase orders, printing of delivery dockets etc.
Key Requirements:
* Keen interest in the Agri, Equine, Hardware sector.
* A friendly personality and enthusiasm to work alongside a small team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work on their own initiative.
