Job Description
This is an 8-month contract to cover maternity leave, providing a temporary leadership solution for our firmware development team.
The successful candidate will oversee the management of project design, estimation, and delivery of robust industry-standard applications that meet our customers' demands.
The role involves managing team members in line with company policies, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead software development teams through the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery.
* Collaborate with product management teams to define and design highly usable and responsive solutions that meet customer needs.
* Work effectively within cross-functional teams managing multiple work streams in parallel.
* Develop strong communication skills to ensure effective project coordination.
* Emphasize quality and deliver value to customers through all projects.
* Participate in application design meetings to understand customer needs and agree on requirement specifications.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Professional software development experience.
* Previous experience in project or team management.
* Experience with SCRUM and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
* Background in Telematics is desirable.
* Experience in managing project risks and issues.
* PMP qualification is desirable.
