Group Financial Accountant – Dublin/Hybrid
Our leading Construction Group in Dublin is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team.
The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the finance team, playing a crucial role in day-to-day operations.

Your Role
* Prepare and review management accounts and statutory financial statements.
* Assist in annual filings and liaise with external auditors.
* Support the month-end close process for accurate financial reporting.
* Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and assist in group result consolidation.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely transaction processing.
* Manage and resolve supplier and customer account discrepancies.
* Assist in weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland and overseas.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
* Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures for finance processes.
* Support annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
* Provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes.
Your Skills
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 1 year post-qualification experience.
* Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* High attention to detail and focus on controls and processes.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
