What is the role about?
We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant to help ensure our clients are utilizing the best possible Workday solution specifically with Absence and Time Tracking experience. Only experienced Workday consultants to apply please. As a Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Designing and configuring Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules according to client specifications while adhering to best practices and ensuring system optimization.
Collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their business requirements, conducting workshops, and analyzing existing processes to propose effective solutions within the Workday framework.
Providing expert guidance and support on Workday functionalities, features, and capabilities pertaining to absence management and time tracking, ensuring clients maximize system potential.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Absence and Time Tracking modules with other HR systems and processes, ensuring seamless operations and data flow; clear lines of communication and project alignment.
Conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support to maintain the stability and functionality of Workday configurations and integrations.
As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management are essential for this role.
What skills are we looking for?
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
Must have Skills Required:
1. At least 3 years' experience with Workday Absence & Time Tracking Management configuration.
2. Workday Absence certification.
3. Experience in end-to-end Workday implementations and post-go-live support for Absence and Time Tracking solutions.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, pragmatic problem solver.
5. Experience with Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, dashboards, and analytics within Workday Time & Absence.
6. Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications.
7. Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory:
1. College or University Degree in Information Systems.
2. Knowledge of absence and time tracking compliance laws across multiple regions/countries.
3. Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom or EU, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
