About the Role
Sitecore is seeking a copywriter to take on a mix of writing and editing responsibilities, including writing emails and email series, web pages, blog articles, case studies, ad copy, and other marketing materials as needed.
The ideal candidate has experience understanding how B2B storytelling can extend and support product positioning and brand messaging. They're able to center the needs of customers in their writing to make it simple and to the point, while conveying technical nuance as needed. The copywriter also is adept at providing feedback and bringing draft content on-message to support work with Sitecore teams such as product or product marketing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Copywriting to support global marketing campaigns, corporate programs, global events, and more.
2. Collaborating across the marketing organization to understand and support key objectives by providing copy that meets their needs, focuses on their target audiences, and supports awareness and demand generation.
3. Creating solid drafts of assets such as blog posts, ebooks (with a marketing executive audience) that may range up to 2,000-3,000 words, landing pages and other web copy, emails and email series, content support events such as signage, case studies, ads, and some social as needed, ensuring all content adheres to Sitecore's tone of voice and brand guidelines.
4. Working in lockstep with the Sitecore brand and creative team on content requirements for events.
5. Tracking all project deliverables in Wrike and managing workload independently, meeting deadlines consistently.
What We're Looking For
1. Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, marketing, or equivalent experience in an editorial, journalism, and/or content marketing role.
2. Strong background in B2B technology (ideally marketing technology) and an understanding of how content supports different audience buying stages.
3. Very strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent project- and time-management skills with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
5. Able to adapt to change quickly and approach unfamiliar tasks and requests with enthusiasm and resourcefulness.
6. Intellectual curiosity and creativity.
7. Able to work with global, cross-functional teams while maintaining an independent, proactive work style.
