Position: Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal caseload)
Location: County Clare, Ireland
Employment Type: 3 month contract (with a view to extend), Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
Medforce are delighted to announce that we are currently hiring for a MSK Physiotherapist for a lively and friendly Primary Care team in Ennis, Co Clare, West of Ireland.
In this role, the Physiotherapist will provide high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population. You will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of MSK conditions, helping patients achieve their optimal level of function and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of adult musculoskeletal conditions.
* Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation and exercise programs to meet individual patient needs.
* Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the primary care network.
* Provide education to patients on injury prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.
* Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to audit and evaluation of services.
* Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities to ensure best practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
* BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
* Registered with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council).
* Experience in a clinical setting with an MSK caseload is preferred, though recent graduates with relevant placement experience will also be considered.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Desirable:
* Postgraduate qualifications or training in MSK physiotherapy.
* Experience working in a primary care or community healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of current best practices in MSK physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
