Job Summary:
The successful Water Treatment Piping Expert will serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, providing technical support and customer service for piping systems in water treatment applications.
This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise in water treatment piping systems and excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve technical inquiries, and drive long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Customer Support:
Provide expert guidance to customers on the selection, operation, and maintenance of water treatment piping systems.
Assist customers with technical troubleshooting, product compatibility, and performance optimization.
Serve as a primary resource for resolving piping-related issues, including material selection (e.g., PVC, HDPE, Ductile and Stainless steel) and hydraulic considerations.
2. Order Management & Coordination:
Assist customers in managing orders, including quoting, order entry, and delivery coordination.
Work with sales, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
Provide regular updates to clients regarding order statuses and project timelines.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs and expectations.
Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for piping system improvements or upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of customer communications, technical queries, and resolutions.
4. Technical Training & Education:
Deliver training sessions to customers and internal teams on water treatment piping systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Provide product demonstrations and in-depth technical documentation to enhance customer understanding and usage.
5. Issue Resolution & Escalation:
Analyse and resolve technical complaints related to water treatment piping systems quickly and effectively.
Escalate unresolved issues in accordance with company protocols, ensuring customer satisfaction at all levels.
6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and analyse customer feedback to identify recurring issues and areas for process improvement.
Prepare reports on customer satisfaction, technical support metrics, and issue resolution performance.
Recommend solutions to optimize customer support processes and enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in customer service, piping systems, or water treatment sectors.
2. Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes, piping systems, and materials (e.g., HDPE, PVC, Ductile and Stainless steel pipes).
3. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues with a customer-focused approach.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
5. High level of organizational and time management skills.
6. Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, sales, logistics).
8. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical piping issues.
