Overview
PM Group have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) department. The successful candidate will be based on site at our client's global drinks manufacturing site in Dublin.
This role involves working closely with a Senior Project Manager in assisting the team with a large pipeline of projects, throughout full project life cycle, from initiation to closeout in an active manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and vendor contractors.
* Responsible for projects technical and commercial delivery.
* Develop project scope requirements.
* Develop & implement appropriate project execution strategy.
* Establish project resource requirements for the project team.
* Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
* Develop & maintain project budgets.
* Manage development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals.
* Provide performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
* Liaise with Senior management, department managers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives, goals and timelines are achieved.
* Give support across all disciplines to bring both design and construction requirements through to projects.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 8 years’ plus experience as a Project Engineer in capital projects.
* An excellent record in Health & Safety.
* A third level degree is preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding/experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle.
* Have experience delivering complex projects in an active Manufacturing Facility and in a highly automated production environment.
* Strong computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.) and competency with other systems.
