A well-established nursing home in Dublin North/Louth has an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing.
Job Summary:
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will maintain high standards of daily care and activities in accordance with best practices within available resources. Planning, development, and management will be part of your daily responsibilities.
Required:
To qualify for this role, you must have a Third level Degree in Nursing, be actively registered with NMBI, and also have a third-level Healthcare management qualification. You will also have a minimum of 3 years experience in working with older people within the last six years of your career. You are an experienced people manager of good character, who enjoys a challenge and takes pride in achieved results.

Elderly Care Qualification
Management Qualification
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years elderly care experience, of which 3 years should be at management level.
Knowledge of the Nursing Home Industry.
Full understanding of the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People.
Wide general nursing experience and proven leadership qualities.
Experience/qualification in Gerontology.
Evidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledge.
Demonstrable coaching and development skills within clinical practice.
Competent and confident IT skills.
Experience in caring for people with dementia.
