We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Finance Systems Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will manage a small team and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and processes within the organization to support our financial processes and strategic objectives. The manager will collaborate with various departments to enhance system functionality and manage system rollout. Systems currently in use include Sage Intacct (ERP), Yooz (Accounts Payable Processing), Expensin (Expense Reclaim), Travelperk (Travel) and Adaptive Insights (FP&A).
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Systems Management
· Oversee and manage the finance systems, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.
· Implement and configure ticketing systems for efficient incident and request tracking.
· Define and document ticketing workflows, categorization, and priority levels.
· Analyze existing Finance issues raised and identify areas for improvement.
· Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for master data and issue management.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
· Manage system updates, patches, rollouts and any necessary enhancements to improve functionality.
2. Systems Integration and Optimization
· Lead the implementation and rollout of new financial systems or upgrades to existing systems.
· Lead the implementation and rollout of existing financial systems to new entities entering the group.
· Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure finance systems are optimally integrated with all other organizational systems.
3. Support and Training
· Manage a team to ensure that technical support is delivered to the Finance team and other users of the finance systems.
· Design and implement an efficient and effective finance system support function that provides timely and quality responses to the users of the systems.
· Develop and deliver training programs and documentation to ensure users are proficient in using the systems.
· Manage system-related inquiries and issues.
4. Data Management and Reporting
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all systems.
· Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making and financial planning.
· Collaborate with the FP&A team to provide data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
5. Compliance and Best Practices
· Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to financial systems.
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in finance technology.
· Implement and enforce best practices for system usage and data management.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education and Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance systems management or a related role.
o Track record of delivery of implementation and rollout of financial systems essential.
o Experience with Sage Intacct not essential but highly preferable.
o Experience working with a shared service centre model essential.

o Proficiency in managing ERP, accounts payable, expense management and travel.
o Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
o Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, including advanced Excel skills.
o Familiarity with system integration and data migration.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Detail-oriented with strong organizational, people management and project management skills.
· Preferred Qualifications
o Experience in a multinational company with a complex finance system architecture.
o Certification in finance systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
o Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is an advantage.
