Job Purpose
The Global Program Manager leads innovation to the market by overseeing a team of Project Managers within the PMO department. You will lead projects from original ideas to successful market launch, including new processes or services, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Project Managers
* Mentor, coach, and develop career plans for direct reports
* Define project scope with stakeholders and determine key features and capabilities
* Build cross-functional teams and prepare project plans, including cost estimates and risk analysis
* Manage project timelines and budgets, anticipating risks and implementing contingency plans as needed
* Communicate progress to management teams and project governance, raising alerts when necessary and preparing alternate options for decision-making
* Launch products on time and capitalize on experience gained after the launch
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
* 6-10 years of experience in project management
* Strong work relationships, decision-making skills, customer focus, and managerial courage
* Business acumen, analytical experience in innovation management, and good understanding of financial indicators
* Proven record of working on new products and/or processes, with green or black belt in Six Sigma methodology
Additional Information
Travel is required - 20% of the time.
