Insurance Analyst wanted for Global Insurance Group-Dublin City
Abrivia are currently recruiting for an Insurance Analyst to join our client, a Global Insurance Company based in Dublin City. This role reports directly into the Financial Controller and is offered on a hybrid basis of 2 days a week in the office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Non-Life Insurance and play a key role within the finance function acting as the go-between with various teams including Underwriting and Claims.

Your Role:
* System Data Supervision: Actively monitor and validate core systems data and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability. Identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments for resolution.
* Premiums and Claims Monitoring: Oversee and reconcile premiums received and claims paid to ensure timely data receipt and payment settlement.
* Finance Department Representation: Serve as the representative for the Finance Department in cross-functional review groups, playing a key role in identifying and resolving issues.
* Credit Control Analysis: Assist the centralised Credit Control team in monitoring overdue premiums and ensure timely updates to management, including reporting to the Finance & Investment Committee and Operations Committee.
* Process Design and Implementation: Assist with the design, implementation, and documentation of processes and controls across all areas of the company.
* Controls and Data Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with the Controls and Data Assurance team to oversee key finance processes and monitor the performance of controls in a timely manner.
* Key Process Monitoring: Identify, track, and resolve key process issues identified during process monitoring.
Your Skills:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role within Insurance or Financial Services.

* Interpersonal Skills: Very good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
