Planning & Logistics Specialist – Temporary Contract

Overview This role combines supply planning and logistics to ensure efficient execution of supply processes and exceptional customer service. The Planning & Logistics Specialist will manage material requirements, production planning, order fulfillment, and logistics operations. Strong Excel skills and prior planning/logistics experience are essential.
Core Responsibilities Calculate and forecast raw material requirements to support production plans.Convert demand plans into actionable production schedules.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure regular and consistent material supply.Manage inventory to avoid shortages and obsolescence.Analyze risks to service levels and provide resolutions.End-to-end management of the order-to-invoice process in the ERP system.Serve as the key point of contact for customers and distributors, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing waste.Coordinate with 3PLs and warehouses for efficient logistics and order execution.Partner with internal teams, external suppliers, and logistics providers to streamline supply chain operations.Support new product launches by aligning production and distribution processes.Requirements 3–5 years of experience in planning, logistics, or supply chain roles.Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Flexibility and problem-solving mindset in ambiguous situations.Preferred Attributes Experience in the CPG or beverage industry.Knowledge of ERP systems and transportation management tools.Proactive, results-oriented approach with a sense of urgency.
