Dive into the world of text-based social media, spotlighting the hottest trending content and conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate & Review: Explore a diverse range of content, from breaking news to entertainment, shared by users, publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators, and influencers
Trendspotting:
Identify and contextualise cultural trends and current affairs across various themes
Quality Control:
Apply review guidelines to content at scale, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Editorial Expertise:
Use your editorial skills to spot edge cases or guidelines questions, escalating where necessary
Tech Savvy:
Master internal editorial tools and communication systems
Decision Making:
Oversee selection decisions and address guidelines or edge case queries
Team Collaboration:
Work with internal teams to enhance user experience
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience living in the United States.
Proven experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism, or digital media.
Deep knowledge of the social media landscape, user-generated content, and text-focused conversation platforms.
Experience with social discovery and/or social listening tools.
Editorial strategy skills and an understanding of engaging digital content.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong orthography and grammar.
Foreign language skills are a plus.
Bachelor's degree required.
