Role & ResponsibilitiesSafety First: You will receive training to ensure safe and proper work practices, creating a secure workplace for everyone on-site.Teamwork: Your responsibilities will include treating waste through segregation, packing, bulking, and repackaging as needed. You will also manage contracts efficiently to maintain smooth operations on-site.Sustainability: As part of the team, you will coordinate the shipment of waste to various treatment centers in a safe, compliant, and sustainable manner.Independence: You will oversee all internal waste collections on-site, ensuring proper segregation within the waste compound while adhering to regulations. This includes planning and registering waste removals and processing them according to site requirements.Experience RequiredLeaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.1–2 years of experience in waste management or relevant fields such as pharmaceutical production, petro-chemical environments, or similar industries.Knowledge or experience in chemical handling.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite).A team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.A forklift license is an added advantage.Familiarity with areas such as DGSA, ADR/IMDG regulations, or bulk tanker filling and movements is a plus.Possession of a Safe Pass is desirable, but training will be provided if needed.
