Senior Medical Scientist - National Laboratory Information System
This role involves the deployment and national roll-out of the National Medical Laboratory Information System (MedLIS) across multiple hospital sites over a period of 4-5 years. It requires collaboration with Partners Organisations, IT specialists, Software Developers, other Technology & Transformation Teams and Clinical Laboratory Teams.
Key Responsibilities:

* Work with the MedLIS project team to understand and define requirements based on laboratory processes and workflows.
* Provide technical and clinical expertise to ensure accurate discipline level build and customisation.
* Assist in the design and execution of testing and system validation to ensure the functional and regulatory compliance.
* Act as a liaison between the project team and laboratory to ensure smooth system integration and adoption.
* Troubleshoot system issues, gather user feedback and collaborate with the development team to implement necessary improvements.
Requirements:

* A recognised qualification as a Medical Scientist and CORU registration.
* A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, ideally in Histopathology & Microbiology.
