Currently in a growth phase, the company is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to a newly created position. Based in the Dublin office, the Financial Controller will lead the development and management of all financial and accounting functions across the Group. Ideal candidate will be circa 6 years PQE and looking to develop their career.Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for all Finance mattersMonthly management accounts and financial reportingMonthly sales reporting, weekly forecasts and annual budgetsProvision of detailed performance analysis against plan, explaining variances across the various departmentsPoint of contact for the auditorsPreparation and filling of all Taxes (VAT, CT, VAT, etc)Point of contact for the IT, Insurance, Property & Pension providersContinuous development and improvement of financial controls and office financial procedures to enhance the business and improve efficienciesManagement of a Team of 8 finance staffTreasury, cash management and Cost controlCapital Expenditure and fundingEducation & Skills:Qualified accountant – member of recognised accountancy body5-6 years post-qualification experience in a supervisory role. Logistics experience an advantage but not essentialFinancial skills and proven competence in financial management and accounting is essentialExperience developing relationships with senior internal stakeholders to understand their requirements.Strong management skills including experience in managing peopleAn understanding of international trade, including the customs aspects, would be desirable but not essentialPrevious experience identifying & implementing process improvements
