EHS Advisor – Large Campus Redevelopment Project (Kildare)

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a qualified EHS Advisor to join our team for a high-profile project in Kildare. Our client’s large campus is embarking on an extensive transformation, set to span over the next four years, and we have been entrusted to ensure the highest levels of health and safety compliance across all phases of this ambitious redevelopment.
The Role:
As an EHS Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enforcing stringent health and safety protocols across a dynamic construction environment. This role will be based 3 days per week on campus in Kildare, one day a week in our head office in Dublin city centre and one day a week remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and enforce compliance with the high-level health and safety requirements established for the site.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure contractor adherence to H&S protocols.
* Collaborate with construction contractors and project stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
* Provide expert advice on best practices and regulatory compliance in line with Irish health and safety standards.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
* Deliver training and toolbox talks to contractors and site personnel, fostering awareness and understanding of safety standards.
* Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on site safety performance.
* Act as a point of contact for client and contractor queries related to EHS matters.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in a construction or similar high-risk environment.
* Certifications: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and a full clean driving license are essential.
* Proven track record of driving safety initiatives and maintaining compliance on complex projects.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
