Supply Chain Manager – Production
A leading healthcare manufacturing company specializing in polymer products is hiring an experienced supply chain manager to lead a team of planners and order fulfillment specialists. The role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with 5 days required on-site.
About the Role
The employee assigned to this position will be responsible for integrating supply chain activities to achieve optimal customer service, product supply, inventory investment, and cost.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all safety rules, including safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
* Serve as a role model for employees by demonstrating professional behavior and prioritizing safety.
* Develop expertise in all areas of the quality system.
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Direct the Supply Chain Department to ensure timely receipt and scheduling of material requirements, including buying, planning, and scheduling activities.
* Develop, maintain, and accuracy of the master production schedule and materials requirements plan.
* Promote best practices in customer service, forecasting, supply chain management, inventory management, warehouse management, and master scheduling.
* Analyze trade-offs and issues impacting production, materials planning, scheduling, customer service, and warehouse operations.
* Develop and implement strategies for production and inventory optimization, particularly for product promotions, new product introductions, and discontinued products.
Requirements:
* Previous SCM leadership experience in a production environment, ideally GMP.
* Exceptional people management skills, with a coaching and mentoring style.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Required travel, both domestically and internationally (up to 15%).
The role requires 5 days on-site, with flexibility for ad hoc days.
