Job Summary:
Carry out a pre-shift vehicle health and safety check prior to departure from the depot. Load Calor vehicles in line with company procedures for bulk or cylinder delivery.
Drive vehicles on single or multi-drop routes to households, factories, farms, hotels, and restaurants using digital logistics systems.
Maintain knowledge of LPG products, their characteristics, and potential hazards.
Perform routine vehicle checks, including washing, refueling, and inspections.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness, including interior cab maintenance.
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to the depot immediately.
Complete daily paperwork and submit at the end of each shift.
Familiarize yourself with tachograph regulations and driving times.
Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
Assist with training new drivers and participate in ongoing training and development.
Hold a clean HGV driving license, ADR Certificate in bulk gases, and packages, and be willing to train towards additional qualifications.
Possess up-to-date CPC certification and a clean driving record.
Show awareness and knowledge of health and safety procedures, and be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment.
