Deputy Manager Role
The Deputy Manager plays a pivotal role in the operational and strategic management of our residential care services at Well Known Children Residential Care Organization.
About the Role
The Centre is a mainstream residential Centre for young people aged 13 to 17 on admission. The Deputy Manager supports the Centre Manager in overseeing the daily activities and ensuring the highest standard of care for the residents.
Responsibilities
* Leadership and Team Management: Providing guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration.
* Policy Implementation and Governance: Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of governance and accountability.
* Care and Wellbeing of Young People: Fostering a safe and supportive environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing of the residents.
* Safeguarding and Child Protection: Implementing and monitoring child protection policies, ensuring the safety and security of the young people.
* Professional Development: Supporting staff development, providing training and opportunities for growth and advancement.
* Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day operations, making informed decisions to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.
Requirements
* Social Care / Nursing / ID Qualifications QQI Level 7
* 3 years working with Children
