Supply Planners x 2
A dynamic and growing international FMCG brand has created 2 new vacancies due to continued expansion into new markets. Previous experience with Supply Planning in a complex, international network is essential.
The Supply Planners are accountable for the efficient and effective execution of the Supply Planning process, including all materials ordering & balancing to allow for timely production. The Supply Planner will create, maintain, manage, and report on the 12-month supply, materials, and inventory availability plan on a weekly basis to ensure effective continuity of supply of all required finished goods.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage delivery performance versus the replenishment schedule, with root cause analysis.
* Manage and prioritize shortages and plan change requests with Demand Planning.
* Calculate raw material requirements to support long-term production plans.
* Regular reconciliation of raw material inventory pre & post-production and at month end.
* Master Data setup and maintenance of all raw material inventory items.
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
* Fill rate
* OTIF measures
* Production Slack and Optimisation
* Lead Time to Customer
* Lot sizing and EOQ metrics for materials ordering
Own:
* Plan and deliver optimal inventory levels for both raw material & finished goods.
* Monitor market demand across various markets to ensure the best possible availability, whilst balancing the cost of inventory capital, capacity constraints, and plant production efficiencies.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years of progressive supply planning and raw materials procurement & management experience.
* Experience across key supply chain areas in supply planning.
* Experience participating in innovation & new product introduction projects.
* Advanced EXCEL skills.
