Job Overview: The IT and Change team is recruiting a Senior Cloud Azure Engineer to be part of our exciting journey to become the most innovative Wealth Management business in Ireland.
You'll be pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, aligning with technology strategy, standards, guidelines, and principles.
You will Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our Azure environment supports our business objectives, scalability, and performance requirements.
Reports To: Head of IT Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services and solutions, especially APIM, Data Factory, and B2C.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and Maintain Business Solutions: Oversee the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based business solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Technical Strategy: Have input into the technical strategy for our Azure environment, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
Architectural Design: Help to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear, well-documented architectural designs for Azure-based solutions.
Scalability, Stability, and Performance: Work on designs that support scalability and performance requirements, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
Azure Resource Management: Manage the relationship with the service partner for day-to-day management of Azure resources.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to deliver projects and solutions that meet business needs.
Technical Estate: Oversee the company infrastructure managed by Central Tech Services.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
