Senior Trading & Execution Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Trading & Execution team at Mercer Global Investment Europe, based in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior candidate to join one of Mercer’s largest and most rapidly-growing business areas – investment solutions. Mercer's Investment Solutions (IS) business provides sophisticated implementation and investment services to clients. The business has grown rapidly over recent years with $400bn of client assets now under management globally, c.$180bn of which is invested on behalf of international investors.
The Investment Implementation Unit is responsible for onboarding new clients into the funds, launching new funds, client and fund rebalancing, management of underlying investment manager changes, NAV and Valuation oversight, regulatory & tax oversight, management of third-party service providers, operational infrastructure changes, and adherence to strict risk controls.
This is a highly visible senior role requiring collaboration with a broad set of stakeholders internally and externally, including investment and commercial teams, Legal, Compliance, Portfolio Managers, strategy, and operational teams.
Reporting to the Head of Trading & Execution, the successful candidate will be part of the senior team leaders within a specialist team, primarily focused on the daily rebalancing of Mercer’s Client Portfolios and Mercer’s Fund range. The role will involve identifying technology solutions and engaging technology teams and external providers to ensure the continued enhancement of the trading model.
This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
* Execute multi-asset trades across a wide range of equity, fixed income, credit, LDI, and alternative funds.
* Execute regular rebalancing trades to remedy market drift and migrate the portfolio back to target allocation.
* Review daily funds cashflow processes and advise flows to segregated managers.
* Monitor actual asset allocation for compliance with regulations and client restrictions.
* Accurately record all trade activity onto Mercer’s core accounting system.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance investment strategies.
* Service clients with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
* Investigate and resolve queries from internal and external customers.
* Implement appropriate risk controls and ensure adherence to these procedures.
* Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

* Relevant Funds or Asset Management experience.
* Excellent analytical skills to translate complex financial data into actionable decisions.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced trading environment.

* Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
* Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.
* Strong knowledge of financial markets and fund structures.
