Responsibilities of the Store Manager
* To drive sales, service, productivity and maintain excellent standards throughout the store.
* To liaise regularly with your Area Manager.
* To achieve targets with the sales team in order to reach maximum sales while ensuring direct costs and labour costs are controlled.
* To ensure that the store’s sales team are trained appropriately and to the highest standard.
* Be responsible for the staffing levels in your store.
* Stock control and management.
* Travel in and out of the country on buying trips.
* To ensure that merchandising and presentation of store is of the highest standard at all times.
