Job Title: Facilities Engineer
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a pharmaceutical organization based in Carlow.
Duties:
* Collaborate with other departments and our out-sourced partners to deliver the Facility and Utility Support function safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
* Maintain Facility and Utility Support services in a state of permanent inspection readiness.
* SUPPORT continuous improvement through participation in projects, system failure studies, and incident investigations using recognized methodologies.
* Support the development and execution of Change Control related to the Engineering function.
* Participate in Lean measures such as Gemba and Kaizen events.
* Comply with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and execute current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in day-to-day activities.
* Accountable for compliance via documentation completion, risk assessments, closing out corrective actions, participating in audits and inspections, and highlighting issues around compliance.
* Escalate issues to relevant onsite stakeholders and support their resolution.
* Develop new SOPs and review/update existing ones.
* Support site Reliability and Calibration improvement programs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project activity is supported through inspection and safety walks.
* Collaborate with multiple partners, including IPT, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, Labs, Third Parties, and Vendors.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, ideally in Engineering, Science, or another technical discipline.
* Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired, with Green Belt preferred.
* Experience in Facilities and Utilities support areas in a GMP manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in identifying and delivering improvement projects.
* Knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European, and International Codes, Standards, and Practices.
