On behalf of our client in Dublin 4, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Financial Controller (3 days per week).
Key responsibilities include:
Oversight of all Financial requirements for the Irish subsidiary.
Creation of monthly management accounts and audit preparation.
Monthly invoicing requirements.
Liaising with customers and Sub-Contractors to ensure payments are made on time.
Processing payments to vendors and service providers.
Ability to work together in harmony with professional service or advisory firms to complete VAT returns, corporate tax filing, and other statutory reporting/compliance requirements.
Serving as one of two Resident Directors on the Board.
General office administration, and other ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.
Role Requirements:
The preferred candidate will have prior experience as a Financial Controller/Management Accountant with full Financial Oversight.
Professional accountancy qualification (i.e.
ACA, ACCA, or CPA).
Minimum 5 years of qualified experience within a large multinational company in Ireland as defined within Companies Act 2014, including demonstrable experience fulfilling the key responsibilities above.
Strong time management skills with proven ability to multi-task and work independently to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
An ability to work with stakeholders across different cultures.
A high level of computer literacy for skilled use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAGE accounting system.
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
A positive 'can do' attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company and its shareholders are required.
Automatic entitlement to work in the EU is essential.
