As part of its support for students, the University provides a Student Counselling Service.
The Counselling Service is a fast-paced, demand-led, and professional service that provides counselling and psychological services to registered students of Maynooth University and Saint Patrick's Pontifical University.
Student Services is set within the Office for Students and Learning.
We are seeking to recruit a professionally qualified and experienced Head of Counselling Service to provide strategic and clinical oversight and leadership to Maynooth University's Counselling Service.
Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of clinical services, including a range of counselling initiatives, development and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as identifying and monitoring risk in relation to service delivery.
They will also be responsible for the leadership and management of a team of professionally qualified counsellors.

The successful candidates must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their output.
