Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team located in Killarney, Co. Kerry.
The working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive of a 1-hour break.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor purchase orders and supplier invoices.
* Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders and payments.
* Maintain accounts payable ledger.
* Perform bank reconciliation.
* Process payroll.
* Provide timely reports.
* Track gross profit margins.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Participate in the annual audit process.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
* 1-2 years of experience working in an accounts/finance team.
* Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant qualification.
* Experience working in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
* Able to work independently.
* Flexible and adaptable team player with excellent communication skills.
