Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide daily operational support to ensure seamless store operations, motivate and inspire their team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, and achieve key targets and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide effective team leadership and management to store staff
* Oversee and ensure smooth store operations
* Deal with customer queries consistently and professionally
* Set and drive gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs
* Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure merchandising and presentation of the highest standard
* Recruit, train, organize, and control staff levels to guarantee team excellence
* Manage employee rostering and annual leave and maintain secure records
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced retail or quick service food environment
* Experience managing targets and controlling costs
* Commercial awareness of the wider food retail sector and ability to utilize knowledge to drive sales performance
* Ability to manipulate and interpret data to support sound commercial and business decisions
* Competent in the use of IT packages including Microsoft office and retail technology systems
Desirable Qualifications:
* Previous store management experience in the convenience market
