Job Description
The Role
The demand for high-quality health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) to support drug development, health technology assessment/access decisions, product differentiation, and clinical decision-making continues to increase.
We seek talented, energetic, creative, diverse, influential, and collaborative team members to join the function and Team Lilly.
The purpose of the Analyst role is to work with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to develop Health Technology Assessment (HTA) related documents and/or to facilitate external scientific publications.
Responsibilities
* Document Preparation / Document Management (75%)
o Plan, write, edit, review and coordinate the adaptation of Economic Models, model technical reports and HTA documents.
o Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy in the economic model.
o Collate the reviewer's comments, revise the economic model as required based on internal/external input, and prepare the final version of the model along with the report.
o Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple document types.
* Knowledge and Skills Development (20%)
o Maintain and enhance economic modelling knowledge, including programming skills and related software.
o Maintain basic knowledge of health outcomes-related research, including RWE and patient-reported outcome studies, etc., and an entry-level understanding of economic evaluation and knowledge of HTA bodies.
* Customer Focus (5%)
o Work with internal and external stakeholders to adapt the economic model as per their requirements.
o Understand stakeholder requirements with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications
Master's in Health Economics/HTA or Equivalent preferred with at least 1-2 years of experience/knowledge in health outcomes research.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills. Able to adapt to diverse interpersonal styles.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrating accuracy in tracking and reporting data.
Strong customer focus.
Good problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Strong comprehension and communication skills, including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Graduate degree with a formal research component or in life sciences.
Clinical pharmacology, therapeutic area, or other medical and scientific specific knowledge and experience.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
