We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager in Monread Fare.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Be aware of the expected business level on the site and enable the delivery of exceptional guest services. Greet guests warmly and courteously at all times, ensuring queries are addressed in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Supervise, manage, and assist in the daily operation of Spar Department areas, ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised while implementing and maintaining the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
* Ensure appropriate service systems related to contractors' site visits are in use, including service logs, granting permission for site access, and paperwork completion.
* Liaise with Departmental Manager/Site Management regarding all operational issues.
* Ensure a high level of hygiene is implemented throughout the Site at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation and regular monitoring/recording of the same.
* Ensure all equipment on the Site meets required standards and is not abused, supervising and reacting to issues as they arise.
* Supervise all staff rostered to work and ensure they are present in full clean & tidy uniform as per Company standards.
* Record staff lateness/sickness as per company procedure and report to the relevant department manager.
* Ensure all departments operate according to the official opening hours and act on issues related to opening and closing a department to facilitate smooth operations.
* Assist with duties as directed by Management, depending on business levels within the site. These duties may include assistance in operations in all areas of the site.
Other Responsibilities:
* Supervise, manage, and assist in the daily operation of all service areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised, implementing and maintaining the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
* Be involved in stock takes and carry them out as needed.
* Ensure implementation of cleaning procedures across the non-departmental areas.
* Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and be fully aware of all Company policies and duties involved in each non-department area.
Health & Safety:
* In case of an emergency situation, ensure the safety of staff, customers, and any other person on the premises. Carry out emergency procedures as required.
* Keep non-departmental areas tidy and safe, reporting any hazard, loss, or damage to site management.
* Be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of all first aid boxes.
* Observe all safety rules and procedures, including those outlined in the Health & Safety Statement.
* Carry out and promote fire and accident/other safety drills as directed by the site safety officer.
* Participate in all Health and Safety training scheduled for you and your team.
* Be an active member of the Health & Safety Committee and attend monthly meetings.
* Inform Management immediately of any accident or incident on the site grounds or if you witness an accident or incident involving a third party.
* Deal with and record employee liability/public liability incidents as per company procedures.
In case of an emergency situation, take the lead role in handling the situations that arise.
