Job Summary
This role focuses on managing tendering processes to ensure best value and compliance in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support procurement planning, expenditure analysis, tender documentation, panel guidance, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support requisition and tendering processes, including procurement planning and expenditure analysis.
* Manage tender documentation, panel guidance, and evaluation.
* Communicate with key staff groups, advising on policies, procedures, and pricing.
* Coordinate and deliver procurement training, ensuring up-to-date materials and best practices are communicated.
* Support audits and reporting on procurement system performance.
Requirements
* Holds or can demonstrate currently working towards a CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level 4).
* Relevant experience in a role which undertakes analysis / interpretation of data and the checking of processes undertaken by internal clients or customers.
* Experience of purchase orders and/or tendering activities, including finding solutions to customer queries.
* Experience of providing guidance, and support to others reporting and highlighting relevant information and opportunities.
* Intermediate level proficiency in Office software packages, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
