Position: Videographer
Working Hours: 3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Remote/Office-based with occasional travel abroad
Travel: Up to twice a year for a maximum of one week per trip
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and talented Videographer to join our coaching and consulting business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, excellent technical skills in video production, and the ability to create compelling content that aligns with our brand and mission. This role involves working primarily during the late afternoon to evening hours and may include travel abroad up to twice a year for content creation. The role focuses heavily on post-production work, with approximately 10% of the time spent filming and 90% dedicated to video editing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
* Pre-Production Planning: Collaborate with the marketing and coaching teams to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and production plans that align with business objectives.
* Filming (10%): Set up and operate camera equipment for filming sessions, ensuring high-quality footage. This includes both in-house and on-location shoots.
* Post-Production (90%): Edit raw footage into polished final products, including color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and special effects integration.
* Equipment Management: Operate and maintain camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and manage the setup for shoots.
* Creative Direction: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and propose innovative ideas to enhance video content and improve production quality.
* Travel for Shoots: Occasionally travel abroad to capture footage in various locations, ensuring all necessary equipment and logistics are managed.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, coaching, and consulting teams to understand content needs and deliver on-brand visuals.
* Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in videography and video editing, strongly emphasizing post-production.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and familiarity with camera equipment and lighting.
* Creativity: A keen eye for detail and a creative flair for producing engaging and aesthetically pleasing content.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel occasionally for content creation.
* Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing various video projects, with an emphasis on editing and post-production work.
* Education: A degree in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
