Skill Enhancements
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of core dairy processes and packing operations. They will undergo extensive training to become an expert in these areas.
Additionally, proficiency in Reliability Engineering methodology and tools is crucial for improving process reliability and reducing unplanned equipment downtime. The ability to develop and implement Daily Management Systems is also essential to ensure key results are consistently improved and maintained.
A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator at all levels, thrive on problem-solving, and possess strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to make decisive decisions under pressure.
Educational Background
* An Engineering or Food Science qualification is highly desirable.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification would be advantageous.
Professional Experience
* Experience with continuous improvement tools is preferred.
* Dairy/UHT/Food manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
