Construction Site Manager - Solar
Leap29 is thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity on behalf of a leading energy company involved in the full project lifecycle. We are recruiting Construction Site Managers for utility scale solar projects, with positions available in Waterford, Kilkenny, and Cork.
Role Overview
The Construction Site Manager will oversee the management, coordination, and execution of all on-site activities for solar construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the site team (excluding HSE) including mechanical, electrical, and civil supervisors, warehouse managers, and quality managers.
2. Supervise subcontractors to ensure:
1. All HSE documentation is validated before site entry.
2. Work adheres to approved HSE documentation.
3. Ensure subcontractor production rates align with project schedules and contractual requirements.
3. Coordinate and manage all on-site works, ensuring compliance with technical standards, project designs, and permits.
4. Ensure high-quality execution of all works.
5. Set up and maintain on-site offices and facilities.
6. Provide daily updates on site progress to the Project Manager and prepare weekly reports.
7. Identify and mitigate risks that could lead to delays or increased project costs.
8. Recommend value-added alternatives for project execution.
9. Present lessons learned from completed site works.
10. Be available for travel as required.
Technical Skills
1. Techincian degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
2. 2-5 years of experience in construction projects (energy sector experience preferred).
3. Proficiency in project scheduling, planning, and reporting tools (e.g., planning software).
4. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
5. Strong understanding of HSE requirements.

Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
