We are focused on ensuring that each of the five pillars of our sustainability strategy are a fundamental part of our decision-making process.Roles & Responsibilities Manage and develop a dynamic product portfolio to ensure maximum product availability and customer service level. Manage supply in line with demand forecast & company budgets using the company business planning system. Analyse sales trends to drive the demand plan. Report daily & weekly on key KPI’s. Communicate & plan with suppliers to manage stock availability, supplier order fulfilment lead times, safety stock and mitigate out of stocks. Work with the operational team and wider procurement team to manage demand/supply peaks driven by seasonal activity. Accountable for maintaining demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy. Review order suggestion in the system and process orders accordingly. Work with commercial and sales teams to fulfil promotional plans & seasonal buying. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities. Management of slow and dead stock strategy. Proactively developing alternative solutions to minimize any stock outages as a result of internal or external issues. Balance of inventory levels in line with business requirements for continued supply, with a view towards optimum stock holding and reduced costs. Strong relationship building with suppliers in order to achieve maximum SLA’s. Cross functional collaboration to drive business performance. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Strong Information technology, numerical and analytical skills. SAP experience would be an advantage Previous experience in an FMCG procurement role (Pharmaceutical Industry experience an advantage) Strong forecasting skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral Innovative and driven with a strong desire to learn. How we’d like to work together Due to the expected key outcomes associated with this role by its nature it will be a role based out of one of our offices across the UK or Ireland. There will be an element of hybrid working available, but this role will also involve travel to our global sites. It is important to note that we do not expect this job to be a ‘9 to 5’ type position.
