Junior Mechanical Estimator - Engineering Contractor - Dublin

You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate mechanical cost estimates, playing an important role in our project success.
You will report directly to the Estimating Manager, supporting the analysis of project specs and other documentation to help create detailed cost assessments.

Office-based role, assisting estimators with quantifying mechanical services from drawings to develop a complete and compliant overall tender figure.
Perform quantity take-offs and populate pricing documents.
Issue work packages to suppliers and sub-contractors for pricing.
Effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members.
Assist in reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Support the Estimating Team in preparing tender submission documents.
Assist in the maintaining and updating of cost databases, ensuring that all data is current and accurate.
Requirements
Relevant third level qualification desirable
1 years’ experience post qualification desirable
Knowledge of a contracting environment would be advantageous
Pro-active approach to working with a team & individually.
High attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially excel
Willingness to learn
Ability to multitask in a vibrant office environment.
