Job Description:
We are seeking an innovative and eager individual to join our Talent Acquisition Team. The ideal candidate will assist in the execution of recruiting strategies, talent attraction, and employment branding techniques to bring awareness to our company's unique culture.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in recruiting efforts for assigned sectors and/or regions, working closely with the managing talent team member.
* Coordinate and schedule entry-level candidate phone screens and interviews, compiling feedback for the managing talent team member.
* Correspond with Talent Acquisition Operations to execute job postings at the direction of the managing talent team member.
* Attend and document meetings with sector and practice leaders, and hiring managers to discuss current and future needs, and search progress.
* Recruit a variety of entry-level professionals using existing CRM software, applicant tracking systems, social media, cold calling, search techniques, professional networking, and relationship-building.
* Work alongside the managing talent team member to source passive candidates for pipeline building in collaboration with the hiring team.
* May coordinate scheduling with external agencies and resources on critical searches in collaboration with the managing talent team member.
* Inquire about current salary expectations for entry-level candidates and communicate these expectations to Talent Acquisition Operations.
* Promote and communicate employment branding initiatives internally and on relevant social media channels.
* Collaborate with the talent team in maintaining applicant tracking systems, reviewing resumes, and properly dispositioning candidates.
* Maintain connections with passive entry-level candidates.
* Participate in various strategic initiatives and projects as needed.
* Attend quarterly hiring summits and participate in weekly team meetings.
* Assist in attracting and retaining talent, leveraging HKS and industry best practices.
Talent Acquisition Team Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to build relationships with managers and leaders throughout the firm, offering sound guidance and advisement.
* Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to search for, evaluate, and identify best-in-class talent, advising hiring managers on best-in-class recruiting practices.
* Foster a culture of mutual investment by focusing on attracting and retaining talent, both candidates and internal talent.
* Contribute to J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) goals and objectives to encourage diverse thinking and diverse candidates.
* Proactively create a positive and informed candidate and onboarding experience, sharing firm culture and strategic values.
* Contribute to the planning and execution of employment branding initiatives relative to social media presence, campaigns, advertisements, and job boards.
* Implement talent acquisition projects, programs, and metrics in collaboration with the team.
* Ensure that TA practices promote compliance with policies and laws.
* Stay current with overall TA trends and best practices, providing proactive strategic guidance.
* Collaborate on team meetings and share information.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
* Typically 3+ years of experience.
* Experience with MS Office Suite.
* Basic knowledge of hiring best practices, policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Experience in executive search firms, in-house recruiting, and Human Resources preferred.
* Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS systems preferred.
* Recruiting software experience: Workday, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
* Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
* Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to proactively problem-solve and apply innovative solutions.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Ability to meet deadlines at expected quality.
* Travel may be required.
