This is an exciting full-time role within Ace Express Freight, focused on recruiting, retaining and developing new customers in Ireland, UK, Europe and Internationally.

In this role, the successful candidate will be concentrating on generating & developing new business with both new and existing customers by increasing business across all service channels.

What are we looking for:
Do you have a natural sales persona? Do you have proven experience with overachieving on targets? If yes, then this could be the role for you!
1. To manage a book of business/key accounts, and targeted growth.
2. To promote all services offered by Ace Express Freight and their global partners to current clients.
3. To develop both new and existing business using both current database and other sources (Manifests, sales leads, tradeshows, etc.) for the services supplied by Ace Express Freight and their partners ensuring that all relevant key information is maintained and recovered within CRM.
4. Schedule meetings across Ireland with potential and existing clients three days per week with a high volume of qualified calls.
5. You will be thorough with data entry to CRM systems and confident with IT systems overall.
6. You will be highly motivated with a drive to exceed targets set out before you.
7. You will be somebody who can build effective working relationships, as well as being able to identify leads and generate curiosity and intrigue in potential new clients.
8. We are looking for a sales professional who will be able to truly live the Ace Express Freight Values, possess strong self-belief, able to self-manage and constantly push for self-progression.
What you look like:
1. Capable of delivering results based on KPI and an OTE model.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment, hunger and determination to significantly grow the business.
3. Confidence and ability when dealing with a variety of people/personality types.
4. Dynamic & dedicated with proven levels of high performance.
5. Commercial awareness for work with corporate clients – an understanding of questioning techniques and active listening skills.
6. Ability to work independently while also working as part of a team.
7. Computer literate including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, TMS systems.
8. Full comprehension of the English language (both written & spoken).
9. Demonstrated relevant industry knowledge.
10. Demonstrated experience within a demanding & challenging sales environment, preference to freight sales.
11. Proven ability to work effectively in a corporate culture.
