by Forbes Travel Guide 2021 and retained in 2024.The duties of the Staff Housing Assistant will include:To assist the Director of Housing in the day to day operations of the staff accommodation buildingsTo take an active role in the provision of all support services including cleaning, housekeeping, administration, health and safety, security and maintenanceTo assist in maintaining the accommodation to a high standard on an ongoing basisTo assist with periodic room inspectionsMeet with new arrivals when required, ensuring that the accommodation is appropriately prepared in advance and the new arrival receives a high standard of welcome to the propertyAssist in the process of departures ensuring that an inspection is carried out of the accommodation on their exit to ensure that it is left in an appropriate mannerAssist with the circulation of any communication and documentation to be issued to staff in relation to their accommodationReport to the Director of Housing any health and safety issues identified and take a pro-active approach to resolving issuesOperate and maintain all systems in the buildings and SOPsMust be capable of working on own initiative and take a pro-active approach to all aspects of the roleMonitoring stock levels and recordingRequirement to stay on-site on a live-in basisCover for the Housing Manager when requiredThe ideal candidate for the Staff Housing Assistant position should:Demonstrate strong communication skillsHold a Full, Clean Driving LicenceHave admin & people management skillsHave the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectivelyHave a friendly & outgoing personalityBe enthusiastic & flexible (need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends)Be legally eligible to work in IrelandWhat's in it for you?
