We are currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a leading British-based global provider of cutting-edge medical technology. The company offers a range of high-quality, innovative products used by patients worldwide, particularly in neonatal intensive care and operating theatres.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing first-class repair and maintenance services to hospital customers and end users across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Your focus will be on ensuring that the company’s medical equipment is in optimal working order while delivering exceptional customer service. This role will allow you to travel, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to life-saving technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and manage service contract opportunities
* Test, diagnose, repair, and calibrate medical equipment
* Train internal and external technicians and healthcare professionals on the operation of life support equipment
* Respond to technical and service-related queries from both existing and new customers
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the company’s product range
* Provide regular reports on service activities and customer satisfaction
* Work closely with the sales, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure seamless customer service
* Participate in the company’s 24/7 telephone support service on a rota basis
* Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Previous medical device service engineering experience
* Experience servicing operating theatre or critical care products is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and experience building relationships with hospital staff
* Full driving licence and the ability to travel across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and occasionally overseas
