Procurement Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the Buying Department at our construction group.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the day-to-day activities of the buying team
* Leading negotiations with suppliers and sub-contractors
* Purchasing materials and labor in line with project budgets
* Appointing sub-contractors
* Preparing detailed budgets and purchasing documents
* Producing key management reports
* Monitoring and reporting performance to the Director
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* At least 10 years of procurement experience with a main contractor
* Demonstrable experience of managing a team of Construction Buyers
* A strong awareness of procurement legislation
* Excellent negotiating skills
* Previous purchasing experience for large-scale projects
