About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join our road contracts division at {company}.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact with county council engineers, ensuring timely fulfillment of client requirements.
* Oversee the day-to-day planning, organization, and execution of contracts.
* Complete Health & Safety Inductions and maintain accurate records.
* Draft site-specific Health & Safety Plans and Risk Assessments.
* Develop site-specific Method Statements.
* Conduct levelling and setting out tasks when necessary.
* Maintain Quality Control and management standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* A degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience.
* Prior experience in road construction is advantageous.
* A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations is desirable.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Excel.
* Experience with surveying and setting out is advantageous.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with contract documents is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Trimble Total Station is advantageous.
