Our client is a leading national provider of Mechanical Service Installations to high-profile clients across Ireland.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Site Manager to manage a Healthcare project in Galway.
Below is an outline of the main elements of the role:
Attend the Project Handover meeting with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Engineer to receive a full project package handover and to develop the QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documents.Set up the Site Office and Stores, including erecting Quinn Downes Installation signage.Maintain the Site Office and Stores to a high standard throughout the project.Issue Bi-Weekly P&T HILTI Reports.Issue Bi-Weekly Project Reports or at intervals set by the Main Contractor.Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a programme of works for the project.Assist payroll with any timesheet queries that may arise.Coordinate mechanical services and builders' work drawings.Order materials and check plant delivery dates to ensure they align with the programme.Issue signed Delivery Dockets to the Procurement Department as required.Manage sub-contractors and direct staff on site concerning safety, quality, and coordinating installations.Assist the Project Engineers in ensuring the Quality Assured Documents are delivered at the milestones set out.Notify the Contracts Manager of all variations on-site and complete variations only upon receipt of instruction from the Contracts Manager.Attend site meetings.Attend whiteboard meetings with the main contractor to review weekly progress updates.Ensure all installations on-site meet Quinn Downes Installation standards.Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical services.Handle project closeout actions and decant from the site.Desired Criteria Previous site management experience in the HVAC industry is required.Healthcare project experience is advantageous.Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.A driven individual who strives to achieve success on every project and dedicates the time and effort needed to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on time.An excellent communicator and leader who can motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines.Ref: EET6532 Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
